Description

'Modern life is rubbish', thought the Sorceress, besieged by everybody and every 'nobody' of the Royal Court. They pleaded with her to save them - but simultaneously chastised her for letting the world slip into decay. After all, they reasoned that they had abolished religion and its practitioners in her favour.... surely she could do better than this to keep the forces of evil at bay? But to her mind, they had brought all these evils upon themselves - through greed and poor planning. There was even talk that the banks were beginning to stumble... a panic far more fearful to some than merely flood, plague or pestilence... now things would really have to change. Yes, this was one weird halloween! Bemused... she had tried every trick in the book. Now she would have to try the one that isn't in any of the books... you can only try this one once - but the real trick is you can try it ALL the time and forever... Now if only they would all shut up a minute and let her concentrate on the spell... "If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: Hold on!" Produced in Daz|Studio and Photoshop. All props from Renderosity and Daz. The poem is edited from 'IF' by Rudyard Kipling. I'd like to dedicate this to everyone here at Renderosity at these dark times. In particular though, I would like to dedicate it to 'novelist'. An artist and friend here who has helped me so much in the past few months and without her support I would have never held on... thank you Cathy. dmrc_enabled_wbtn.gif

I can't take my eyes off this work. There are a number of wonderful inspiring works done by very talented artists in this forum, but this work, the color, attention to detail, the working of each and every figure, will in itself, have a major impact on all the work I do from this point on. I don't know why I am just stumbling upon this artist and his work, and especially this particular piece..... it should be mandatory. London224

Let me add my voice to the appreciation of your work, the detail and the inticateness and power of the scenes you have created have demonstated Fine Art. I regret the "hard times" and have also appreciated Novelist. I am glad she was there to support you. I have enjoyed seeing her growth too...
