I went hiking with my mother the other day and this is what i got...just wanted to share it with others

This is a powerful and poetic image. The greyscale, pov and cold, silent rushing water create a very gothic atmosphere. Truly a lovely, lovely capture! 10+

WOW. This is incredible. The clarity is already great, but it's enhanced by the black and white. Great work, and the absence of color heightens the emotional impact of this image.

Poor you! Suffering such crappy quagmires. Really, really nice, but I wonder if a vague-very-vague touch of sepia (or some other color) might warm it up a bit & make it more inspiring.

for smaller waterfalls I prefer a slower shutter speed to give the water a bit of movement but with larger ones like this I think the stopped motion gives a great sense of power and scale, and almost looks like icicles too - great dramatic tone you've chosen and a beautiful, powerful capture.. very nice!
