Description
It was only after I started it that I realized I didn't have the DAZ skeleton, only the DAZ skeleton textures. I have no idea why I bought the textures and not the model. It was back when I was just figuring it all out, I guess.
So I used to G2 skeleton, which doesn't look quite as fancy.

they played for a very very long time ha ha but the game must have reached a dead end the G2 skelet is indeed not so nice.. i never use it I think older poser versions had a better one

FANTASTIC image!! I've heard of 'dead heat' games, but isn't this a bit extreme? grin Just kidding! Great image!

Great image! Great concept and execution! As for the textures but no model... been there, done that. Usually happens to me when I catch a good sale. It happens. Actually I think that skeleton looks great for this render. Well done!

Wonder how long those two have been playing...they're down to only a few pieces on the board. I think the one on the right is already checked mate. Super imagery.

Yeah, you can tell that there's no kings or queens on the board if you look at it. It was a matter of taking a huge prop and scaling it down, piece by piece. I got lazy after 5 pieces and just ended it. I don't think the game they're playing is actually possible. But I'll chalk that up to fantasy.

A most interesting and original composition! I think the skeleton looks fine in this render! Great job!

The winner gets a skin! Cool image. Might have been a little stronger if rendered with the cast shadows on, but OK the way it is. I've got a colection of textures without objects to apply them to.

I don't know if it is deliberate but this echoes a classic film scene from The Seventh Seal (also parodied in one of the Bill & Ted films if I remember!). Brilliantly done - even if it is a "fantasy game" - great posing of the characters too!
Killebrew
You're right, PhilW. It does echo that scene, doesn't it? I'm familiar with the old Ingrid Bergman scene, but I wasn't thinking of it at the time I did this. At least not consciously. That's the problem with casual art...you can rarely come up with anything original. My subconscious stole the idea to protect me from guilt. I'm blaming it on society.
