Description
I've been trying to get a shot of this little fellow for quite some time. This is the best I've managed so far.
Moorhens are usually so very shy that they hide at the first hint of humans. Obviously, this one had had a good day and was quite happy to pose for me. :-)
Now, if only I could catch sight of one with chicks.

The textures in the forground are wonderful, and the tiny coloured part of the birds beak balances the whole scene perfectly.
