Description

I went for a little hike out in the College Woods today after work, and of course I had my camera with me, and found this display of pumpkins out at the Lodge that is located on the same grounds as the college where I work. So I hope you enjoy the little creative touch I added to it, and … Enjoy the season.

i agree with mrs.l; you are good at this! not only do you have a keen eye for composition, etc., when taking the pics, but an artist's eye when preparing them for presentation. any number of your collages and pics could be postcards... you may want to consider developing a line of postcards, lynell - i bet your sales would be brisk! hugggs, michael

a nice crispy autumn capture, and you brought the fall elements together nicely. Nice restful fall background too, against the potpourri and pumpkin/gourd gathering. (Well, they look like they're having a gathering. Old friends, maybe they went to school together or fought in WWII, who knows...) Very inviting image...There are pine cones on the bottom: Do you have pine cones in Tennessee? (Did I just show my ignorance?) See, we don't even have them in Chicago, for the most part. Anyway, a nice reminder of this beautiful time of year. Hope you're enjoying your season too!

Caine was a vegetarian and the Old Testament is about animal sacrifice so whee do pumkins fit in? Pulse, that pithy soup that had to be eatten to acknowledge death. Other wise we would be back to apples and fruit.
