When Sir Francis Drake first sailed into San Francisco Bay, he thought the hills were covered with gold because of the poppies--this reminds me of that vision!!

Thought I'd take a look at some of your early work today. This is a simple but appealing landscape with its serene, panoramic vistas. I'm reminded of some of the work of the French Impressionists!

This is such a charming and inviting landscape, I wish I could have wandered around these fields of Poppies, a simply serene view, nature at it's best ... BB (It's 'Ciao' from me for now, leaving tomorrow morning! - thanks for your good wishes Duncan, until my return in September ;)
