hello again! thanks to any and all who view, and even bigger thanks to those who comment. here's the final version of the previous image. again, this is my own face morph and skin shader. i had some fun painting the colors and light. i hope you enjoy it!

cool lighting and hard work an the fire I guess. especially I like the expression, the eyes and the lips (they are much better than in the raw version!)

Great face morph, she looks really nice. Very good expression too, with some slight assimetries for added realism. Very good work. For some reason, this image reminds me of Mr. Mxyzptlk, from the old Superman comics. But the flames... I'm sorry to say I really don't like the flames. They don't seem realistic to me, at all.

The expression and the detail in the eyes are wonderfully realistic, and the face morph looks very real. The flaming hair is a nice touch.

I don´t see any problem with the "realistic" aspect here. The raw version previously warned us that "it wasn't meant to be very realistic". Therefore, I wasn´t expecting any particular degree of realism; I always intuited the final image was more about the achievement of a very special gesture, an expression, an attitude. Anyhow, I don´t like the hair/flames either. I think it´s because it isn´t executed with the same technical level of the rest of the face; I mean, it doesn´t seem very well integrated in terms of design and visual coherence. Nevertheless, it´s a very powerful image as it is. Her million-dollar expression tells it all.

This is so fun to see after looking at the raw render--in both of them the face is so engaging and expressive, it looks more "realistic" to me than many "photoreal" renders--this person has thoughts and opinions as well as flamy hair (which is almost as cute as it is scary). I think it looks fine because it would be blurry--it's moving after all, and it's not a thick, stranded substance, but plasma. But I hope she lives somewhere non-flammable;)
