Description

Sorry for the dutch title, but when I ran babel fish over the dutch word 'lock' came out and I'm not sure if that is the right explanation for this device to let ships go through canals. Good day all, Thom

This is beautiful. In my language "lock" is a gate to allow a boat to be raised or lowered to meet the next level of water in a canal or river. The lock is generally part of a dam across the water.

Lock is the right word.. English can be so complicated with one word meaning so many different things. Beautiful work :)

LOL, and Babelfish does some strange things to language too, as it translates too literally sometimes! This is a beautiful capture, wonderfully enhanced, it looks almost like a painting by one of the artists that tries for detailed perfection!
