Description

Late afternoon and gathering clouds made capturing this aerobatic performance by Tim Weber tricky. Wrestled with myself...to post or not to post but the before takeoff, colorful shot of the German built "Extra 300" airplane convinced me to go for it. Hope you like it. Haven't been real satisfied with several earlier collage efforts but seeing some of your beautiful collages has kept me going. You know, if at first you don't succeed...try again :-) This needs a full-size view...have left it large for that purpose. Bill

Yee Haa, that's southern, Hoooooah, that's Navy...Great shots. Clouds in the background gave it some good contrast. Let's borrow one and go for a ride. Bet we could beat our old cross SC speed record with one of those. ;-) Skipper62

Very nice work!! I've shot air shows and understand the challenge. The speed of the aircraft is one issue. The back lighting from the clouds is another.

You can see this plane was built to buckle....cool to witness,great to capture,now imagine being inside....these pilots,100% certifiable{which is a good thing}....way to show us!

What a well put together montage thingy! Really great job, Bill. Well done. Do't have to worry too much about the clouds and us UK guys, we're quite used to it!! (My last on was too, dark on dark!) Great effort, mate! Rob.
