Description
The third ever image that I posted on this site (or anywhere come to that!) was called "Walking The Raptor" - it got one comment...
How times have changed - the technology is better, I am able to render full outdoor scenes without using backdrops, realism is way higher - but someone still has to walk the dog!
This image started as a test of Carrara's "surafce replicators" - similar in some ways to Vue's Ecosystems, enabling fields and forests etc. I owe a debt to HowieFarkes for his wonderful scenes - this uses grass and flowers from his Country Lane but I had a look at how his scenes were put together and made my own crude attempt to do something similar - his scenes are way better!
