On the world of Phalak Tem a phenomenon occurs that bring out all the weird cults that seem to thrive on death and the end of the world. And maybe on this planet, in this solar system, more so than anywhere else. For this world sits on the event horizon of a black hole,and every 100 cycles the "pull" of it increases considerably, pulling space junk including small astroids and moons into the vortex.
