Description

Thought it was time I tried something a bit different (for me, anyway). My orginal effort in this direction was "Elmer", the result of a somewhat vacuous tutorial on profiling. I thought that was more than a bit iffy, so I have tried again. This is my third go at a profile. I know it doesn't conform to the rules, but so what. I enjoyed doing it.

RayDream used to have isometric cameras in each axis but since most of the references are normal perspectives even when dead on a direction there was no correlation. Illustration and mechanical drawing inhabit the profile.

If you enjoyed doing it, than good enough! Can't think of a better reason for doing something.

I suppose I shouldn't have said "rules". What I meant was the previously accepted way of doing things. There are thousands of aircraft profiles on the net, but most of them are only one up on 'paint by numbers'. Draw an aircraft profile, fill in some blocks of colour, shade it a bit and voila! you've got a profile. With me, things have always been a bit different. My aircraft have all got to look as though they will actually fly, whether in two dimensions or three. Simple really.

Great work on this. Such detail. And don't worry about rules and the like, mate. Ron.
