Sand Speeder by draculaz

Yeah right. Created in Bryce 5, ship made entirely out of metaballs. The texture for the ship comes from tinkering in Deep Paint 3D. Postwork in Photoshop, 2% noise, equalized levels and contrast, added a green color filter and blurred the ship's shadow a bit. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Cool! I'd suggest more definitive texturing on the speeder (AKA, how do you GET IN), but I'm really curious as to how you did the sand trail!

considering it has no wheels, I'm sure you can let your imagination work on the entrance into the vehicle. It's all scifi. For all you know, it could be organic ;)
As for the sand trail, it's a long cylinder that has one of the cloud presets in it, forgot which one :)

I like the texture work on the speeder. That dust really describes how fast the object is moving. Excellent work...

I like the contrast between mood and speed. Very well done!

I think some motion blur on the speeder would be brilliant. Nice work.
