There is an apparent, lovely, delicate composition, POV and textures in this unfinished work, which you have deicated to your father, my friend. I am very sure that your father is appreciative of this work. Maybe you modelled this tree ent on him. It takes courage to even upload a render after a massive emotional bodyblow, such as the one which you have received. My thoughts and prayers are offered to you and yours in this testing time. Your father's life has changed, not ended. He is resting in the presence of Our Lord. You are asked to continue on your own path, but you are given all the necessary strength to do this successfully, by your Heavenly Father. You have only to ask, as a daughter asks her father. I was with the rest of my family, with our father, when he died 13 years ago. Even now, he comes into my thoughts, offers the odd bit of advice, or has a wee laugh at what we are doing, and watches the antics of the great-grandson he never knew down here. Be assured that your Heavenly Father holds you in the palm of His hand, and freely gives you all the aid and help which you will need. Take heart, with deep confidence, my friend. A wonderful and evocative image with a lovely sense of Entish stillness. My sympathies are with you at this challenging time. I feel your father has learned the lessons he came here to learn and has now moved on to a different classroom.
