Description

Passed through here while visiting in northern Georgia and heading to Tennessee to do a little sapphire mining. Didn't actually find any sapphires, but had some fun trying - it was something different to do anyway :-)

Stunnning outlook. Here we live on an island and views like that are hard to find. But in the Castle we do have a spphire mine! Dave

Gosh, you are way ahead of me. I've only scouted for turquois and silver, and panned for gold a few times. I have gotten a tiny bit of each but when you need tweezers and a magnifying glass to hang on to your day's work, you have to look at it as fun and nothing more. And it was fun. This is a gorgeous vista shot.
