It is almost too hard to imagine this being the battleground!!! You have captured the cottage so beautifully and on a perfect day too. When I was walking around Culloden a number of years ago it felt eerie as it was so peaceful yet knowing the slaughter that took place there it gave me such a chill!!! Superb photo.
