Description

My rendition of Saturn's 2nd innermost major moon, complete with an ice water geyser jet in the foreground. Both Saturn (actual Cassini probe image) and the plume were postworked in. Thanks for looking in & have a great weekend!

I looked up Chesley Bonestell's art last night. This afternoon, I see this: which reminds me of his "Saturn As Seen From Titan." Same subject, of course. Very impressive. Great detail. I'd have put the jet a bit to the left, and Saturn (probably) a bit to the right: but that's a quibble, and arguably a matter of individual style. On the positive side, that jet is wonderfully understated.

Very cool! I've been reading with fascination the things NASA has been discovering via the Cassini mission. This is almost as good as being there, and much like I'd imagined it would appear. Great job.
