Description

a shot from earlier this week, some of my shots of the kestrel were spotted by a bird owner who liked them and i got a commision to shoot his finnish gosshawk. managed to pull over 800 shots of the bird and this is the first one to come out of photoshop. many more to process yet, not sure im happy with this one and maybe it could do with a little more work, im sure you,ll let me know. hope you all have a good weekend. sigma 70/300mm iso 400 f7.1

You've added a great sky as the background but the flecks in it (i'm not sure what else to call them as they don't look like noise) detract from the lovely shot of the bird. I think the whole background could do with a decent amount of gaussian blur to give this the long-lens look, that will place more emphasis on the subject, pulling the viewer in.
