Description

As I don't get a great many visitors - especially photogenic ones - I usually have to make do with myself as a model. Though, recently, contact was re-established with some family who emigrated to Australia thirty two years ago. This required a recent picture of myself to scare them with. :-D As it didn't look too bad, I have used the same photo in my profile but couldn't resist playing with it in PhotoShop. This is the end result which confirms that I'm no oil painting. Hope it doesn't give you nightmares. Have a good weekend. ------------------------------- Original Photograph 18-Oct-2008

So much better then a self portrait of me, most of me would be made with primitives.... with the exception of hair; that would be imported. Love the postwork Kev, and the beard suits you my friend.

Nice photo - and wondered what was hiding under the hat. Hope things go well with the re-establishing contact with those in Australia.

Excellent! That's a really classic 3/4 face pose, and the postwork HAS made you into a superb oil-painting! I might have cropped some of the background a bit to make it more 'portrait' shaped. Wonderful!
