Another one of the vintage cars that I captured last Sunday.

Excellent presentation. Like the way you have desaturated the background, ...makes the car pop right out. Putting a brand on this car is tough. Looks like the badge on the side of the hood/bonnet says "Overland". The Willys automobile company bought the Overland automobile company sometime about 1918. The cars produced after that were all Willeys to include the world famous "Jeep" during Worls War II. Willeys built a car in 1941 in very limited numbers that closely resembled this design. But I can't find anything that illustrates the use of the name "Overland" either in the late 1930s or in the 1940s. I may just not have looked far enough. The mystery remains here. Bill

Great image, Ralph. Bill has it, I think. The hood, windshield and fenders look most similar to the modified 1941 Willys-Overland pictured on Wikipedia. Memory is dim, but I think the logo Willys-Overland used was a splayed "W" superimposed over a very round "O" Dick
