Description
Prague has so many beautiful, interesting and sometimes bizarre facades from all its periods of architecture but I love the Art Nouveau and Art Deco in particular. This one (with its 'sister' around the corner) was just off the Old Town Square. I photographed it last year and went back a few days ago to look at it again. It was modelled in a ceramic material and, (dare I say it!) glued to the wall. someway.... I took another shot, or two, amd of the sister,I hope improvements.
This sister is the more modest of the two..easier to crop but I will upload the other more seductive one , when I've dealt with it more successfully!!

I've never made it to Prague, my friend, but thanks for sharing this shot. I understand that much of the city was untouched by the Second World War. It has been used a few times for movie settings, of course. My twin brother took hundreds of photos, some years back, on some coach tour, bought himself a handsful of sable brushes, some lovely 'not' paper, and on his return, proceeded to turn out a lot of watercolour paintings from them.
