why blurring? you have no refference for distance/scale in this image, maybe we are very close to this rock.

Scale is implied by human experience. The title itself implies that this is a mesa that one might find in the southwest United States. Those things are quite large and by human perspective, the camera in this image would be a mile or two away from the outcropping. Again this is simply my opinion and you can do with it as you choose.

just an ordinary prutzwork g. the terrain was enlarged? there seems to be a strange pattern on the surface... doesn't matter, looks great!
