Description

"Last call for passenger number 04! Yes, the lady with the dragon-pet! Can we please start... today?!" I think some things will never change... Even if some crew robots like to assist you... LOL hehehehe I really liked my last two pics with the dragons, so I wanted to do another one... The female passengers clothes are again Vincebanga's "DreamGirl for V4" combined with a few other pieces. Very versatile, thanks again my friend. The female characters are "Coryn" from my dear friend Sabreyn *hugz* Used toolchain: Poser 6/7 -> interPOSER(Ltd/Pro) -> Cinema4D V9.5 XL -> PhotoshopCS3

I used to love your work, and I'm writing this just because I'd like to see more of the imagination and emotion that permeated from your earlier pictures ("Do robots dream" and "Isolation" are my all-time 3D favorites). Thus, please forgive me, but you have always so many enthusiastic reviews that maybe some constructive critique might be needed? Here it is :-P Apart the imagination behind your pictures, which is great but a lot less emotional than before, I find that lately you are lacking the sense of the "whole". For example, the blur you're always using isn't adding atmosphere, and instead makes everything seem more artificial (in a bad way; I know, everybody always says "wonderful blur effect!" - thus maybe it's just me). It's maybe too simple: the main image is focused, the back is blurred, and that's all. On my opinion, your late compositions always end up as a series of 3D objects in the same image, and though they have a "narrative" meaning, they don't look as if they're really born to be together. They don't look as a whole. Please excuse my english (I'm italian), and my critique. And please note: this is a critique from a fan, who is always looking for your next picture (and not a critique from another 3D artist: I suck at that). All the best :-)

No worries, crtitique is always welcome, especially if it is constructive critique. I always listen to my viewers :)

Always a pleasure to see your work. Oh, and by the way, your images always tell exactly the story you seem to want to convey. I see your work in the illustrative vein, so, pushes with the depth of field to enhance the foreground are an intelligent way to emphasize the focal point of your piece. In other words Excellent!

I would respectfully disagree with izitmee, and instead concur with Robert0921. Your images always have something to tell, it can't always be the sombre deep thinking stuff... As for blur, from personal experience sometimes I go through phases using certain techniques. I'd look back on it later and think "what was I on?!", but at the time it's about going through the process more than anything else. That's just my take on it anyways.

Amazing and beautiful as usual I always love them!!! I totally agree with Robert0921, and I don't understand the comment of izitmee is about..I think you always focus on the story you are telling and even if I don't read the comment I alays understand it's meaning..so I think as usual it's perfect!
