Description

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago, while out driving around, enjoying the fall colors. There was a slight slope going down to the river, a simple little slope, too; but was one I slipped and fell (HARD!) down. Surprisingly, I didn't hurt my back or break any bones lol SO... if you happened to have felt a little tremor, that's all it was - me, falling on my bottom. :) Hope you had a nice weekend!! Shari October's Photo Challenge (final week!) - Graceful Dilapidation!

Shari...you have a real knack for selecting beautiful subjects and then doing all the right things needed to post superior images. Of course sliding in the mud is not a requirement for success...that's just an extra :-) Am looking forward to whatever the next challenge is... Bill

Now my question is did you take the shot before you slipped, or while you sat there accessing damage to your backside? Great capture and glad you didn't break either yourself or your camera. : )

Is that what they call getting a little behind in your work? I'm glad that you weren't hurt. This is a really nice image. It shows the "FALL" colors exceptionally well.

To be sure, I see no ripples on the water, now if it was I as fell down, the shock would be so great as to empty the river. I cannot see one has petite as you causing earthquakes to be felt around the globe. #;0) Such a beautiful place as this, a tranquil scene, a place to sit a while, stretching a line in the water, baking a fish on the bank, just listening to the silence. Excellent capture Shari, wonderful reflections on the flat calm water. Bravo!!!!!
