Description

A scout rider watches the arrival of an unknown vessel in the canyonlands of Avarron,hidden from view among wind-carved rock spires.As the craft begins it's descent,the rider radios ahead to warn the colony of the visitor. The canyon is a large custom terrain that wraps around the scene in a large horseshoe shape,casting shadows on the rock spires,which are custom lattice terrains.The texture is a photo from cgtextures.com,the bike is Nanotecht's Imperial Hoverbike.Victoria 3 posed in Daz Studio,wearing Cree Assault gear from Daz3D.com.Sky is a customized preset,rendered with Premium setting(soft shadows and depth of field selected)Sig and saturation boost in Photoshop,border and slight bloom effect in Photoscape 3.1.Thanks for viewing and comments!

Very nice scene! I really like those Lattices. (looks to me that you cranked the compression a little high - I see some jpg artifacts around Vickie and the spires)

Your rocky spire creations are unique, Neil. And they work to add height and depth to the thick ATMOS on this world. Lighting really sets the overall mood and feeling of this place.
