My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... ÂÂ
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. ÂÂ
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. When I was at art college many many years ago, when the world was young and spun on a different axis, I tried something called 'Strawberry Fields'. For a few hours nothing much seemed to happen; yes I saw lots of colours (juts as you were told) and things seemed heightened and my pulse raced. Then it was time to go home (a room on campus) so I put on an album (It was George Martin's own music) Then I 'became' one with the instruments. I actually WAS part of the basoon, and each of the instruments as they cropped up. I was one with the notes that flowed out- I was each note itself, and this went on for maybe 3 hours while it was dead of night, the room was full of glowing notes and music. I could see the music, BE the music, be the actual instruments and the notes. And this image brought this memory back to me suddenly after all these years. No, I didn't try it again. It was too scary, although it was also sublime. But maybe that one trip was responsible for the way my brain perceives music (and art) now. I'm not recommending it, just recounting an observation. Thanks Keith!

Unique vision of the Julia fractal, this one sort of shows us how it is made up. Cool idea for an image. Tony.

Very Art Deco, very cool...Heathcroft's comments brought to mind my own to a T similar experience; in my case it was called, Purple Owsley, immortalized in Jimi Hendrix's song "Purple Haze," and the album was The Doors "Strange Days," yes I dropped again, and had the same experiences; just as I do, on a lesser scale, inhaling certain medicinal hrbs...Guess that's my "rest of the story" your wondrous design; which I'm faving, :) bought to mind. Thanks for the Groovy Flashback lol.
