Description
Mount Parnitha (Parnetha) is a forested mountain north of Athens, Greece. Much of the mountain is a protected national park. The Mount Parnes Casino is located near the top of the mountain and is served by a suspended cable car. Also on the mountain is Athens' transmitter, broadcasting radio and television stations.
