Description

I really couldn't decide between making this a black and white or a color picture. The colors really were beautiful here. Since I took two similar shots of this location for this series, the next one will be in color. This is an HDR panorama generated from 18 exposures, mixed with RAW data for sharpness. Comments? Questions? Suggestions?

I think it is very dramatic in B&W. A very pleasing image! I wouldn't mind taking a walk on that beach right now! :)

The tonal values always seem better in B&W, my friend. The beach textures and that threatening sky are just wonderful. I hope that you had your umbrella handy, as well as your camera. So many shots taken, and then the HDRI wizardry... ;o) I have a wee program from MEDIA CHANCE, which gives me HDRI, but since I rarely take a photo worth posting, I have not really used it for that. The results in your offering are, however, stunning. Maybe I should try it out... Warm regards, from a cold, but reasonably dry, Glasgow, John.
