Description

My sister's parties. I hate to be there. I'm a bad girl, I hate to see my sister at all. My successful sister. The nemesis of my childhood. Better than I since the day I was born. So happily married to a wealthy man. But what could I do? When the invitaton came I didn't refuse to go, should have known better but Helen is my only surviving relative. Instead of staying at home and trying to get some more words on the empty screen, perhaps making some money with these silly words I spent my last bucks for a hair-do and tried to make the best of my three year old party dress. I got all dolled up as good as I could with no money and a secret reluctance to doll myself up at all. Yeah, it was boring, perhaps it was more boring than any other of Helen's parties had ever been and that means something. Helen's parties are famous for being the dullest events ever. It was 10pm and I knew I had to stay one more hour at least, trying to avoid Helen's friends and most of all trying to avoid Helen's husband, greatest of all tax lawyers since Cicero. Greatest of all adulterers since Henry VIII. As always I did my best to hide in a distant corner. With not much success. George found me and I couldn't refuse to dance with my brother in law but was lucky that after a few bars he mumbled a word of excuse and headed towards some higher goal, most likely the wife of one of his major clients, leaving me on the dancefloor standing there with the firm notion to clear out before he could come back. I wondered if I should run to the bathroom, pretending to be ill; or if I should look for Helen and tell her how much I despised her and her pathetic, icky husband; or if I should publicly vomit right here. I only knew that I shouldn't have come in the first place ... when suddenly a pair of golden eyes met mine and a dark, deep alto with an incredibly seducing slavonic accent reached my ears: 'You and I. We do not belong here. We'd better be off.! ***** Zyanya by gypsyangel and tabala... I made a test render of her face and the story was there. Had to find the image for it. Found azl's crowd kit too and that's all. ***** Thanx for looking!

Love the story and the render. The expression on her (your) face is timeless if that is you in the black dress . . .if not my thought still applies. Not photoreal but thats why I like it . . .very much so . . . B

Well..... one look at that face, that expression, the body language between them, and the end of the story was already anticipated! You draw such a stark contrast between her bitterness and the final, unexpected promise of the evening. It's a beguiling fantasy, Doro... if fantasy is what it really is. Hugs from Izi

Wonderful, how you made all the others at the party fuzzy, like suddenly they are no longer there - I can almost hear everything go suddenly quiet. All attention is drawn to her right eye - perfect touch, that. And how we can't see the mystery girl's face. Really good writing, too. Really. And I have a new hero - George.
