Description
I saw this bird fly across my backyard and land in the neighbour's tree yesterday. I took some pictures and waited but it wouldn't turn around to face me. From what I can find online it appears to be a Sharp-shinned Hawk which is indigenous to this area. It was probably migrating south and just stopped by looking for a little snack.

Dude! What a great & lucky shot. You don't often get very close to Birds of Prey. Good one. Rob.

Bravo, very opportune capture!! And right in your back yard, too, how luck!

Amazing how the length of the leg is equal in proportion to the length of the tail. Fabulous shot.
