Description

We're now taking a very small and somewhat slick path towards Lacamas Creek. We've stopped here by this log to see the extent of the moss that grows in this area. As you can see, there seems to be a path worn in the moss on this log. My guess is that the smaller fae use this log as a means to get further down the path without having to fight the undergrowth. If you stop and listen, you can just hear the musical notes of the water as it dances over the rocks further down the hill. the air is fairly still with whisper light puffs that just seem to slightly move your hair. there's the faint rustle of the ferns off to the left of us, as if there is someone watching us. I think that we will go towards the creek thanks to all of you who commented on the last picture. Have a great day Mike

Yet another great pic in the series! Am I just not seeing them - or have the faeries scared off all the wildlife? Not noticed any bugs, or birds, or bigfoots, or anything like that.

I like this log... ya got any from toe view? ...you're braver than me... so much lushness out there, I'm suprisee to didn't stand on a big snake or lean up against one... you do this again, you might want to have a knife handy... sorry man, don't mean to freak you out, but I have came right on top of wild HUGE snakes.... One time I urinated on one that was atlease 15 if not 20 feet long and it was stretch out like a log - I thought it was a log so when it started moving and it was bigger around than my leg, I stood still and watched it slither out into the Arkansas River.... It gave me a new Idea what's out in our rivers that I like to swim in.

This area is filled with lushness as pointed out above, and I think your right the log does seem to have a path worn away on it for the faes

A Fantastic Faerie Slide Mike! Your image sparks my imagination! :) Do be aware, especially this time of the year; While it is adventurous to look for the tiny Fae Folk, One's focus may be so intent, that one does not see the Ogre right in front of ones self! DUCK!!!!!! ;)
