another shot of Mariaberg...I sneaked into the school its today and was lucky to get this shot with nobody around. The cloister is very special, because it's sprung archs have alternating capstones each shifted to the left or right and not dead center. Thanks a lot for all your wonderful comments on my last shot and hope you will enjoy this one too...smile

Nice, quiet shot, Ulla. Why the alternating capstones? Perhaps a bit like the Celtic love of asymmetry. Maybe there was an architectural reason to this feaute in Mariaberg. Whatever, it has a still beauty of its own. Warm regards, from an icy Glasgow, Scotland, John.
