moving house took 2 days - moving internet and telephone took a month!
because of this i have not been around much but thank heaven i got connected an hour ago. this image shows how you feel when you can't communicate :-)
as a consequence i could not look your images or comment - i trust i will see all of them over time, but i cannot promise to comment on all of them.
glad to be back again!

Glad you are back on line...always a little tricky getting things to happen as soon as we'd like when moving...

It is beautiful Koosie, and I angree with Elizabeth's thought of The little prince. Very well illustrated feeling I really can connect to!

Me too it reminds me of the story of the Little Prince, that was my first thougth when I saw your image. It's simple yet says so much, very nice :)

Yes Koosie, somehow the two things dont make sense, but unfortunately they are true. But now you are back and that is wonderful. So is your image here. I cant help loving these little fellows and their surroundings. :)

a very sunny image for all its sense of abandonment...charming & magical & I agree with the "Little Prince" thought. Lots of rich white, with beautiful 'hairy' touches along the edges, and your usual quaint pawn and the little island he occupies. (Sorry I came to this late, K, I've been battling infection. This is my first day commenting in a while...) Lovely & fun.

A beautiful and lovely composition! Glad that everything has fallen into place for you, as it is always hard to get done what you need to do, when you need to do it.. especially being dependent on certain companies.... grrrr... I can definitely attest to that one. Very frustrating indeed! Glad to see you back... and a superb, and most creative image!

Ha, ha. I know how you felt. My modem blew up in a thunderstorm and it took the telephone company almost six weeks to fix it. This is a great image of isolation.
Jay-el-Jay
A good depiction of the feeling of isolation.

I'm late in viewing, but happy to do so. I love the elegance of this piece, the minimalist simplicity. It's an effective, and heartening piece of work. It definitely conveys a sense of isolation, but also a sense of being alive--as one has to be alive in order to experience isolation--so in that way it has a wonderful element of sideways affirmation. Great work!

How very true to be without. You don't realize just how much it affects your daily life until it is gone! Glad to see you back and commenting
