Description
My grandson and my daughter in law. He love boudin and he just 10 months old. She feed him some boudin and he loves it. he wears a size 2 year old cloths.
I was going to post two photos of these two but i was useing paint and that program was not doing a good job on collages so I post them one at a time lol.

I do not take many baby photos but I like the way he watch mama eat that boudin.
sun was bright and I thought I had my setting right lol many photos was wash out. oh well live and learn.

She is eating boudin. it like a rice dressing in a caseing. but better tasteing than rice dressing. i will shot some of the winners later on.

In the old days blood was included in the boudin but that have been outlaw. You can just get the red boudin from homes that make it and they will not sell it to you. they have to know you. the blood is cooked in with it I understand. In other words they save the pig blood in a bowl and mix it with the grind meat and the rice and spices and put the mix in a sauage casting and steam it then. The rice and meat and blood is cooked already when they mix the spices and put it in the caseing. I going to have to go to a place that do this and take photos to show you all lol

Jock, this is just the best shot! I love how intensley the baby is watching that food, almost willing Mama's hand to put that bit of boudin in his mouth! There is a sausage that the Polish make, Blood Sausage, but I don't know if they use blood in it any longer. Some meat vendor stands used to sell it at the local farmer's market. I'm not sure what goes into it.
