Description

Yesterday we were out walking along the Rochdale Canal from Littleborough to Todmorden a 5 mile section of the Canal. It was good to get myself moving again and feel the frsh air in my lungs, although the towpath was very muddy! This is The RIVER ROCHE which runs parallel with the canal at certain points of the journey. The weather has turned wintery, I woke this morning to see small flakes of snow falling but hardly sticking to the ground. It has turned some of the tiled rooves white but I don't expect it to last the day. It has certainly dropped in temperature here. Thanks for calling by and Have a good day...Alan

Always great to see photos with lovely Autumn colours in them Alan, this is a great example of that. A slightly slower shutter speed I think has achieved the great water affects ... but what do I know. Tony.

Oh, what a wonderful image Alan!!!! I love the slow shutterspeed with which you froze the water's movement!!! Brrrr for the snow... Bruce and I swam yesterday afternoon when I got back from work. It was about 29C!!! (Sorry!!)

very nice capture Alan. I am always trying and often not getting it right when it comes to shutter speed and flowing water. You've got it right here. And the fall colors add a handsome splash of color to the normal blues and greens we see so much of in nature. Snow already...wow. Bill
