A little break from the series again, this time with a leaf. Doesnt it look like leather?

We had frosty weather this morning all over the country. Here, near the coast it is a little milder, so no frost, but rather low degrees. BRRRR! But I see the sun out there too. :)

Beautiful macro detail, Helle. It reminds me of fingerprints. I wonder if each leaf is totally individual like humans fingerprints are. How incredible and awe inspiring that would be or is.

YES I agree that the texture of this leaf looks like old leather. And with it it gives a very original, beautiful and intruiging picture. I had not access to the data of the picture. I would have preferred a smaller aperture (f/16 or — this depends of the focal length you used— f/18 or even f/22), resulting in a much better depth of field. But perhaps it would have reduced the depth effect of the image.
