Hi Folks,
Its my birthday today! I am now 21!! (LOL I wish) ;)
I have been back in my favourite morphing/modelling software: Argile. I wanted to create a Manga style character, but with my own slant on the genre.
Created the morph in the Argile modeller, the textures in photoshop and Vue.
This is a Vue render and I spent a lot of time on the lighting and have also improved my render times considerably (as well as quality) by experimenting with the render settings. I had to create new render settings because the hair looked dreadful and could not be rescued with post work. The original render times were 8 hours and looked awful, my new render settings take 1.5 hours and needed very little postwork.
Tom asked why I used Vue and not my usual C4D/Vray.. well the story goes... basically the import into C4d kept causing an internal C4D file error and I wasted 3 hours before I found out. I like a change anyway and really enjoyed creating these images in Vue.
