Description

The night is dark, quiet, as still as a pond. A single pulsating ripple caused by the incessant beat of my heart... ...alone in the dark. A cry of desperate anguish emits from the depths of my abandoned soul... Fingers tracing your image imbedded in satin sheets, the space you once filled, now empty, cold and lifeless... ...alone in the dark. Tears burn hotly on my cheeks, I taste the bitter salt on my lips. The wind whipping furiously, rattling the window pane framing the moon... ...alone in the dark. Gone are you, you who made me whole, complete, far out of my reach. A very sad and poignant poem which leaves the reader wondering why is the person alone, did their lover pass away or did they just go away them?? Wonderful image with beautiful colours and lighting!!!

Humm, yes, but are there not two of them? Who then is alone? But then I see but a single shadow cast, So perhaps this being is alone with themselves, just their inner self. Humm, as always your images give me pause to think.
