Description

The "Horizon" Class transport Orizzonte had finished dropping off her passengers when an alarm rang out, moments before the missile detonated. An escort had also detected the approaching missiles, and fired a wild shot to try and stop them. The Shortest War had begun. ----------- As you can guess, this is part of a series. Not sure how long it's going to be, but it'll be fun to see! Ships were modeled in Bryce, planet, background, compositing and effects are all Photoshop CS3. Thanks for taking a look, and comments/criticisms (and especially suggestions - that's how I get better) are always welcome.

Nice work, I think the comp. would work better with the planet offset. I really like the transport. "May you create well and prosper" AV

This is excellent! I love your ships, the sense of realism they possess...they look as if they've been designed for real world uses; your nebula is excellent, as is the planet--right down to the details of cloud wisps and atmospheric glow at the planetary limb. I also love the drama here...and the way this series seems to grow organically. Great work.
