Great panorama. The color tones have been rendered so well. Very freshy and pleasant.

Thanks for all your comments! [Editor Note: I wish the trees were greener. All of the Dolomites pictures contain dead and dying trees. Personally, it's cause for worry. What's up with that? Portend of an ecological problem nobody knows how to solve? An immediate flush of good mushrooms might be one silver lining.] Enjoy!

feel like just came back from a whirlwind trip when dropping into your new photo listing galleries. Wonderful work---often wondered how you created the oil impressions for the flowers that hour was well worth the browsing-am ready to start painting... thank you for all the info and wonderful visuals!

What a really breathe taking view....why is it that dead and dying trees are artisticly more interesting to look at than green living trees?....my guess is that the leaves hid a part of the tree that is very interesting to view....namely the twisty and textured branches and trunk. There does seem to be an overabundance of dead trees in this shot and I wonder if being so close to the tree line has anything to do with it.
