Description
Terragen 2 image base using some Poser models, and also using donated Helmut's teepee plus Klas's and Lightning's grass and tree found at Planetside. This image's inspiration came to me from a beautiful old Grabill photo of the "Hostile village on the Brule" showing the post Custer Lakotas forcibly gathered up at the White clay district concentration camp just befor Wounded Knee occured in 1891. I envisioned a happier time perhaps 50 years befor that bloody ending when life was still good for the "wild ones."

It's bright! The detail is very good. Kind of nifty!.

This is so realistic! I don't what to say!

The scene is really charming, but a bit bright for my own taste. It could be cool to see it with a soft light, something like a sunset, maybe. Great image, anyway.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. 1402dandov your preference for a sunset lighting alternative was actualy rendered out in one of the beginning lighting and color options I created for this picture, and It was pretty dramatic lookong. I might get out a Terragen 2 render update of that file and put an evening sunset rework of "Brule" on Renderosity's History section next time.

Excellent scene!

Very nice scene! If I could recreate this scene entirely in 3D without compositing I would be a very happy man ;)

Yes Sven you and I both would be most happy, but unfortunately I only have the try out of the beta Terragen 2 so am limited to only three sets of object instances and seventeen textures. The rendering of this program does however give one lovely base images to fuse. I am also only a rank newbie within an incredibly steep learning curve/GI of Terragen. This work was begun as an exercise in water caustics, then saddly my lust for a finished product got the best of me and everything degenerated into an orgy of postwork. Someday I hope there can be created an animated video/movie that is non-fiction and simular in context to our and others "bleeding hearts" graphic work. The reality of all souls departed who faced and fought the crushing inhumanity of that poor excuse for decency called (for lack of a better term by so-called civilized people)"manifest destiny" are worth knowing well. Waste kola.
