Born 1941. Yeah, I know, that's old. Live in Rome. Was raised in Buenos Aires, and still feel that as home. Work as a consultant in GIS (Geographical Information Systems). My hobby, or maybe my real profession, is South American history. My wife is a very well known (in her specialized world ) Roman archeologist. Our son is 30 years old, but hasn't decided to grow up yet. Deals in politics. We travel, at least an important travel each year.

Wonderful and astonishing shot, because there is no horizon line because of the mist. So, the lake (or the sea) seems to disappear abruptly, as if the photo had be taken obliquely. This was evidently not the case but it gives a visual paradox (or illusion) which enhances the magic of the image, begun with the red flowers in the foreground.
