She'll be comming for you, and it sure ain't for a traditional roll in the hay! heeheee! This is my Halloween desktop wallpaper for this year. No gore or even a spot of blood to be seen this time.? Just a straight forward image rendered in both a greyscale and color fashion. I quess one don't always need to be too extreme in one's creations to make an scary impact. Instead I hope that the cold color setting will create enough of a chiller. I know I probably have explained this type of greyscale render before, but incase you've missed it, here goes. Create your scene as any other. Replace all the color maps that you want to be greyscale with either the bum map or an appropriate greyscale image. Leave only the color maps that you want to appear colored. Render, voila! In this image only the left and right irises and lips were rendered with color maps applied. This method works in most 3D render apps. I've added a very soft yellow overlay in postwork. Rendered in Bryce with postwork via Coral photopaint. HAPPY Halloween!
