The subject of our all-day photoshoot was covered bridges. I was interested in the texture of the wood on this one.

I remember seeing several covered bridges as a child. I wonder if this was one. I had aunts and uncles and cousins in and around Ashtabula. Would you believe, my dad tried to get my mom to elope and move to Ashtabula when they were in high school? :-) Great shot.

Gorgeous bridge!!! Wow...we have some here in NH, but they are built differently. I used to live in Berea, OH, outside of Cleveland and we used to get mushrooms from Ashtabula!! Wow...there's a memory from long ago!
