Ascension
Now that the Ritual is complete, Tosha has to release the previous Matre Notic's soul, she must do this with in one day of the ritual. For two souls can not posses the same body, with the transference of power from one to the other, the soul of the old Dark Mother is passed to the new one, while her body atomizes into the atmosphere. There is also other sacrifices of being the mother along with the inability to bear children due to the nature of the power she wields, for this sustains her life longer then most Genovians. When a female, who this honor can only belong to, is the Matre she ages at a much slower rate then every one else, approximately every 5 natural years she will only age one year. A small form of immortality but with sacrifices that most Genovians are not will to pay. One full day has pasted since conjunction and ritual transferring the power and soul to Tosha, She makes her way to the highest tower of Covenant Castle and release the soul to return back to the fold.

I love the tale you are weaving around these pictures, very detailed and convincing world-building. The picture is cool, and is a nice contrast with the previous one in the series, the blinding white of the outfit having given way to something darker. Well done!
