Description

So i may have told a fib - there were 3 keepers out of the 40 not 2 ;) Here is one i took as i was heading back from my after work sortie around westminster. (Grain added btw) Played around a bit with the coluors and contrasts. Can anyone help me - because i am lost in trying to define my "style"... i seem to be jack of all trades in that respect - just take the last thee photos in my gallery - they were all taken within 2 hours of each other yet they all adhere to a different "style" or "look"...arg... is that necessarily a bad thing? :) Enjoy! Rich

It's a great pic, that's all that matters. Da Vinci didn't have a 'style'.

wow great shot and tell me about it with the style thing! I see all these great galleries from artists with fantastic distinctive styles, yet when I look through my gallery i see so many different types of work! One of the hardest things I reckon..

Personally, I don't care if you have a "style" or not! You have a wonderful artistic eye, and that's all that really matters.

cool pic, don't think style matters too much until you're asked/commissioned to do a particular type or genre of photography - then it's important you stand out as having something distinctive.. otherwise I reckon experimentation of your own curiosities are always a good way to go and good to learn from - these experimentations help you define a style but generally it depends on your goals, and you should always (I think) take pictures primarily for yourself..

For someone like me, with not a lot of time to browse the galleries everyday, it is a delight to have the staff’s weekly choice to identify some fantastic uploads… Congratulations, Rich for your selection in LWitG (Last Week in the Gallery – week 45-2008 ) ! 98.gif
