Description

This lil future moth has to find alternative forms of transportation till he gets his wings...and yesterday that transpo was my car...making me a member of the caterpillar relocation program....I couldn't resist he had three thumbs out.... thank you all so much for wonderful comments on The Neighborhood Pond

Nice capture. I park under a large Oak Tree and quite often find little caterpillars and spiders on my vehicle. I try to get some pics, then I attempt to move them by hand or persuasion and as a last resort, I say "hold on tight guys - we are about to go for a ride". So I also am a member of the previously mentioned relocation program, lol. Thanks for sharing. Lee

This is a superb shot...it does justice to the little critter; the hairs are so wonderfully defined! Great sense of natural color as well. This is most definitely a favorite.
