Description

Brassica oleracea. We found a 'hidden cafe' while on the visit to Whitby, down an alley-way off one of the old cobbled streets. we had coffee and the richest cheescake I ever tasted! while waiting for the laideis to use the bathroom (like 20minutes lol) I took a few shots of these outside. Have a good day.. I'm going to Manchester today with Cheryl my daughter and little Millie. I'll try to get back to commenting later in the day..Alan

Oh Alan, this is gorgeous! Bruce and I saw them at a local nursery a couple of weeks ago and I never photographed them. Well - at least you did because it makes a great image! :)

Some of the biggest and most expensive landscaping done here is done with the ornamental cabbages. This is a stunning composition of them!

These are everywhere around here! I swear ... the city planning departments don't know of a single thing other than ornamental cabbage to plant in our public beds. They look so pretty in your photograph! They're much nicer from the top than they are from the side, which is what one sees when driving by them. Beautiful photo!
