Description

I noticed my Gallery was full of all yellows so I thought I would add some red. This was taken in Bellingham Wa in the Fairhaven historic district. It dates back to the 1800s and is now a artsy place with cafes and boutiques. Thanks for stopping by..Take care:0)bonita

It's a pity that the UK got rid of those fabulous and so British phone-boxes. Excellent capture and fond memory for me!

Oh how beautiful this is! They sure don't have workmanship like this anymore. We don't even have the "modern" phone booths left here! In fact, public telephones are not so easy to find anymore!

Great shot; with no narrative I'd almost think it was in England!

That's where I was born! (St. Joe's in Bellingham, not a phone booth.) :) Great shot!

Wonderful capture, Excellent well done..These are getting rather rare now as BT are removing them as hardly anybody uses them anymore as everybody carries a mobile phone with them nowdays, such a shame though.

B. T. sufers much more from vadalism now with their phone booths than they ever did before with this type of booth. The ones they hve now are just one pane of glass they say it is toughened glass, but it still breaks. When it does it shatters into thousands of tiny pieces. With this sort of booth they get fed up after breaking a couple at most. If they re introduced this type they would save so much money they would be able to lower the call charges. Superb find, I wonder how it got there and why? It looks like this is missing three panes of glass on this side, three of the largesr ones that is, the small ones look intact. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
