Excellent tryout. Your manipulation works for me. I like the color used and the concept illustrated.

The only post on this pic is a sepia tone filter. The actual photo is one shot. Aperture priority "7". Long exposure. Clicked shutter and walked over and set down in the chair.

The expression a shadow of his former self comes to mind. Beautifully done and the emotion is spot on!

A dramatic photo that strikes the heart, (mine at least). Brings back memories of my father. Wonderful body language that translates a sense of hopelessness. Outstanding photo!

For someone like me, with not a lot of time to browse the galleries everyday, it is a delight to have the staff’s weekly choice to identify some fantastic uploads… Very interesting composition... I really like pictures telling a story... Congratulations for your selection in LWitG (Last Week in the Gallery – week 45-2008 ) ! 98.gif

I missed this somehow, and I'm so glad it was a staff pick this week. What an awesome image! I never would have thought to do a long exposure like that. Wow. Excellent work!

This is extremely creative. Hope you don't mind a little plagarism of your idea...I never knew you could get this effect using the technique you've described. I'll have to try my hand at it. As for me, I didn't know there were staff picks of the week...congrats for your Week 45 selection. Bill
